| May 15, 2008 | Cusano Cuvée |
Cusano Cigars from Tabacalera Dom Rey have an interesting blending philosophy, according to Joseph Chiusano. Some of these ideas really set them apart from other manufacturers, at least as far as public statements go. It's likely others do this, too, but it's not always made known so clearly. "We produce our cigars in the Dominican Republic using only the best tobacco’s from all over the world. We also use wrapper tobacco’s as binders and fillers in our cigars. Wrapper tobaccos are between 30 and 50 % of the flavor of a cigar. They are more expensive but used in other positions give the cigar more character, flavor and complexity. This is our philosophy to give the buyer more then they expected. Our quote “ Discover what a cigar should be’ is how we feel about the cigars we make." Read more... |

Rodrigo de Jerez was one of Colón's sailors who fell entranced by tabaco. For his constant use of the plant, he was imprisoned by the Spanish Inquisition. 515 years later, Molina Cigar Co., is proud to present to you the result of the sublime works of man, nature and God.
